  • Mine is very similar to FreeForAll's

    Mom's Cheeseball

    2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    2 -8 oz. packages cream cheese softened
    1 T. worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 4 oz. can chopped black olives.

    2 T. chopped parsley
    1 cup chopped walnuts

    Mix all ingredients except parsley and walnuts until well blended. Form into a ball. (I usually make 2 balls) Mix parsley and walnuts, roll cheeseball in the parsley and walnuts. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for several hours. Serve with crackers.

  • Lil' Smoky Cheese Ball
    2 cups shredded smoked Gouda cheese, room temperature
    2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, room temperature
    1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
    2 tablespoons milk
    2 teaspoons steak sauce
    1 cup toasted chopped walnuts or pecans
    Crackers, for serving
    Place Gouda, cream cheese, butter, milk and steak sauce in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment. Mix until well combined. Transfer mixture to refrigerator. Let chill overnight. Roll cheese mixture into a ball. Place nuts in a shallow dish. Roll cheese in nuts to fully coat. Serve with crackers.

  • Soften cream cheese, chopped up corn beef, diced onion, dab of horse relish. Mix and form into ball. All done.

  • I made a bacon jalapeño one for thanksgiving. It was awesome.

    8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
    1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (2 ounces)
    2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
    Pinch of cayenne
    1 teaspoon lime juice
    1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    2 jalapeños, stems and seeds removed, diced, divided
    6 pieces cooked bacon, crumbled, divided (about 6 ounces)
    Salt to taste
    1/4 cup chopped pecans, roasted

    Mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, cilantro, garlic, cumin, cayenne, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, half of the diced jalapeños and half of the crumbled cooked bacon.

    Place the roasted pecans and remaining diced jalapeños and bacon on a plate. Stir together so well mixed. Roll into a ball then roll in the pecan and jalapeño mixture until completely covered. Chill at least one hour.
