Can I make my Lasagna cook it and just reheat on Xmas day?

  • When I make Lasagna. I make two pans. I freeze one for later.

  • You could also make it, refrigerate and bake it on the day of.

  • yes my cousin makes 3 dishes of lasagna, freezes 2, than days/weeks later reheats it.

  • I vote with the ones saying to assemble ahead and just bake it that way. It gives the sauce and noodles time to absorb the flavors of the seasoning. Would also be a good time to use an uncooked noodle recipe, so they don't get too soggy (Emeril has a good one if you need it)

  • Yes but if you make it more than a day or two ahead you should really freeze it.
