  • My dau's is in March & she's planning it already! lol :p We send out the invites about 2-3 wks in advance & know what we're planning before then. I usually buy an extra gift or 2 at Christmas to set aside for her Bday. :)

  • ok so I was think I should start in January to really plan to save ect because her birthday is in March also. I have a bigger place and considering doing it here but might do it out of the house because its easier clean up. Still debating. I have some time but I know she wants strawberry shortcake for her theme.

  • We have already put the deposit on the place where we are going to have our DD's 7th birthday at the end of February. I just don't know what the etiquette is to send out the invites.

  • Not much. We don't usually have a party - stopped those when DH's family stopped caring. I guess technically this year I have planned my kids birthdays out 6 months and 9 months in advance - I already know what I'll be buying them for their gifts.

  • I've got a boy born on Christmas day... We started having him a June birthday party, a day just for him! I started (mentally) planning in April...I bought things here and there up until the last week of June. I guess I planned about 2 1/2 months. Do whatever feels comfortable for you...but don't wait until the last minute.
