  • Do you have anything at home that you can use as rewards-- change, or anything? We used to do a game where the girls did a chore and earned a reward.... Whoever got the most rewards won.... and I got my house clean!!! LOL!

  • Mine read or play a wii game. Sometimes we make cookies or something like that, but today they are having to pick up their stuff they left downstairs and take it all back to their rooms. DS isn't feeling great and DD wants to have a friend over to make candy trains.

  • Board games, watch movies or play wii. My 11 yo likes to bake and my 12 yo still likes to play with his Legos.

  • Play board games, cards, color, water color, fill out Christmas cards for nursing home patients, watch good movies, have them help you bake something. They can help clean a room or do a chore they really enjoy. Try to make the time something enjoyable so you/they can have good memories in years to come. Rainy days make some of the coziest memories for kids.

  • We make cookies, play board or card games and right now, put together a Christmas puzzle. But...it's tough. I sent them outside earlier to run off some steam.
