My 5 year old son wants Lala Loopsy Land toys and a barbie from the Brave movie. He also wanted my little pony.

I made this a few weeks ago with no specific recipient in mind:
Never occurred to me to ask DS if he wanted it since it had so much pink, but at soon as it was done, he started asking. The turtle is now named Aiden, and has joined the "zoo" in DS's room.

Sure, it's a toy. Last year when my Son was 5 he collected all the My Little Ponies from McDonald's Happy Meals. I actually went to the drive through just to buy the toy's only. Then he would line them up at night & sit on the couch & watch the show. Now he isn't interested in them anymore & put them in a bag to save for his baby sister. Now he likes Angry Birds, LOL!

Where do we start as a country in dealing with mental illness.
