  • Probably for the same reason they have problems placing apostrophes properly. Or write "try and" rather than "try to."

  • No idea but it is scary. I homeschool my kids and make sure they know your, you're, their, they're, there, two, too, and to. We work them into our spelling and dictation daily.

  • I don't know.  It's so simple.

  • Why do you have such a hard time letting it go? People make mistakes. Get over it.

  • The latest ones on here is threw and through. The clothes/close/cloths one bugs me.

  • I mess up occasionally, simply because my brain works faster than my fingers when I type. But, I never do, when I'm actually writing.

My biggest CM pet peeve: those who can't even properly spell/type "pregnant" trying to become so, or asking if they are due to not using BC.

  • Oh, and the worst is "UR" used for everything: "your, you're, you are".

  • I have to admit. I am kinda with the anon. I make mistakes. I don't usually proofread my comments here as I am not submitting it for a professional reason. I DO know the difference between your and you're, but as this place isn't my job, I am not going to spend all my time proofreading things.

  • I'm sure that some people did not have the best education, they could have struggled with grammar or spelling even. Shit I couldn't tell you where a comma belongs in a sentence. I had no help at home and I had no one to push me to do homework.

I honestly don't care if I mess up at least I'm not text typing lol
