Does he/she pull themselves up? Can they hold weight on their legs, if you put them in a standing position? You should probably consult with your childs pediatrician with your concerns.

Is he crawling, sitting etc? If so I would not be worried as children progress at their own speed. At your next appointment ask you ped.
Just encourage him to stand. If he can stand with your hands or holding the could put a favorite toy a step or two out of his reach and make sure there aren't others that he can just sit and get.

I wouldn't worry as long as he can put weight on his legs and understands you when you talk to him. Just bring it up at the well visit.

most doctors do not worry until 18 months

If he is doing everything you said, but walking than he should be fine. Give him a little longer, he'll do it. I would mentionit to you ped at your next well visit if you are still concerned. He/she would be able to address your concerns better.

No I wouldn't worry...My DH didn't walk until he was 16 months! He was a smart baby and realized he didn't have to walk because he got carried every where lol ...He'll get it though. Especially if he is doing everything else that a 14 month old should be doing. Walking will come next. Then you'll be wondering why you even wanted him to walk in the first place! lol

mine started walking about 15-16 months old

My youngest didn't walk until 17 months. He could take steps before then, but it was easier to crawl. Plus if he was crawling in public, one of us, including older siblings, would just pick him up. Who wants to walk when you have someone to carry you?!

Just gently encourage him and you'll be chasing him in now time.
