How do I get wax out of carpet?

So I have one of those sentsy candles that my DS dripped all over his sisters wall and her floor. Any ideas on how I can get this wax up?

  • Take a paper grocery bag, lay it on top of the wax then use an iron on top of the paper bag to melt the wax & transfer it onto the underside of the paper bag. Make sure the iron does not get too hot & turn off the steam.

  • I have the same suggestion as the PP...It takes quite a few passes over the mess, but it works.

  • And for the walls just use a hair dryer and paper towels, and after the wax is removed from the walls just wash with mild soap and water.

  • And may I add: Aren't you glad there was no flame and the wax didn't burn!?!
