Flying home for Christmas...

My 19 yr old will be flying home from college today. There will be snow flurry there and 30 mph winds here.
I can't help but be worried...
She's never been in an airplane before, first flight.

Any last minute suggestions?

Someone else helped her pack, all the do and do not take.
Plus, my nagging, I'm sure.

  • In the event that the plane is delayed over night for some reason (hopefully not!)
She should have a carry-on bag with an extra pail of clothes, toothbrush/toothpaste, hair needs
Some extra cash JUST IN CASE she is in need of money
    Some snacks
I say this because one never knows what to expect with the storms coming, the airplanes etc.
Hope she makes it home safely to you for the holidays:)

  • -I'm sure she will be fine. My daughter is 19 and has taken flights on her own a couple of times- I think I worry more than she does ; )
