Does the screen name of the poster make you read a question?

Do you ever read the question title and think you are gonna skip that one, then you see who posted it so you think "eh, I'll give it a try"? I do that sometimes... Certain posters ask pretty good questions so they tweak my interest even if the title seems funky to me...

  • Category, then topic, then name. I tend to avoid the Relationships category, but if I see it's posted by a friend, or see a bunch of people on my friends activity have posted in it, I might end up in it anyway. OTOH, if it's in debates, I'll most likely read it no matter who wrote it, the name only impacts my expectations.

  • Nope I mostly go by title. Though sometimes I admit, I wind up groaning and thinking oye I really should have read the poster's screenname before clicking in.

  • i was told by a member that she skips my questions because she can not understand what i am saying

    funny, she posted that comment in one of my questions
    nice she took the time to go into my question to post that she does not answer my questions

  • I have been looking at names latley. Because some ladies will post 10 to 15 Questions in a row. it is anoying.
