Does your 2 year old take a shower or bath?
My inlaws think DD should be taking a shower...
DD LOVES bath time! We do color water tablets, bubbles, music and toys! She has such a blast!
Am I wrong to give her baths?

Your in-laws need to mind their own business. Bathtime can be really fun for toddlers. My preschooler still loves it. She takes showers at times,too, especially once when she had a yeast infection. But that's the only time when taking baths might not be a good idea. Otherwise, play and splish-splash away.Found an answer to your question?

What?! That's crazy! My 6yo only *just* started taking showers. My 2yo showers with me sometimes, but mainly takes baths... and that's COMPLETELY normal!Found an answer to your question?

WHAT?? Bath time is an event in my house! My 16 month old LOVES her bath! My 6 year old still takes baths too, only an occasional shower if we are in a rush!Found an answer to your question?

DGS takes baths and my kids took baths until they were maybe 5 at least for the most part.
She is getting clean and happy to do i, and as far as I am concerned that is all that matters.Found an answer to your question?

My 2 year old takes a bath...with her 1 year old and 3 year old sisters. The only time I give them a quick shower is when the 1 year old poops in the bath and I have to rinse it out and bathe them really quickly.Found an answer to your question?

My DD was taking baths at 2. I made them start taking showers a couple months ago b/c I was tired of the soaked floor. They are 6 and 4 and take showers and it is so much easier clean up.Found an answer to your question?
