Is it safe to eat shrimp while nursing ?

Silly question, I know but I don't know bc I know it's not entirely okay to eat seafood.

My son is 8 days old and I am new to this nursing thing.

  • try not to eat it too spicy though. It's fine to eat but baby can be sensitive to spicy.

  • They say you only have to change your diet if you notice a reaction in your child or are eating things that you KNOW can cause foodborne illnesses like spoiled food and stuff like that.

  • Eat and drink AS YOU LIKE. Everything went back on the table with the cutting of the cord.

  • Yup, you can eat seafood again :)

Just make a note of what you have been eating if you notice baby being gassy or fussy or having a reaction of some sort.
