  • From just below the crotch to the bottom of the ankle (bone). Or you can put another pair of pants on the person & measure the inseam of those pants & add the inches to where you want the hem to be.

  • I'm not measuring anyone or hemming pants or anything - just curious because my oldest DD can almost stand flat-foot stradling our indoor doggy play yard thing and it's 30" tall - she's only (almost) 11! So that just got me thinking and wondering.

  • I have a 31" inseam at 5'5" 1/2. I am also very long waisted.
    How tall is the kid?
Is she blessed with long legs :)....Mine are terribly and sadly very short :(

  • Yes, the kid has long legs - she gets them from me (I wear a 36" inseam) and I get them from my mother. Mom & I have short torsos, kid's appears to be normal yet - she's going to be tallllll!
