  • Many anon questions are well, unnecessarily anon.

  • Unless the question is a very embarassing one or you don't want your DH/SO to see it for some reason then why post anon?

  • "And maybe their reason for being anonymous, is necessary to them."

And if it's not an obvious reason and the question is superfluous why bother ask it at all?

  • What is your favorite (insert item) no real reason to be anon. Unless one claims it is an attempt to find others to interact with who share similar likes. But how does a shared fancy for vanilla ice cream or the color blue allow one to form a relationship of any sort?

Additionally you made an absolute statement: :"when anybody posts an anonymous question". Not all anons are dismissed. Case in point, a member often posts on a certain day of the week about the absentee father skipping his visitation. Normally, no animosity from the other members.

thirdly you have insulted the group with an implication of irrational emotion.

Do you not think it is rather self serving to presume the emotional status of the respondents. Perhaps it is your filter for internet dialogue that is broken, and not ours.

  • OK. Then you must understand that when you post anon you have not just your stalker, but all of us at a disadvantage. You have to take the rough with the smooth when you go anon. I guess.
