How long is cole slaw good after it's made/mixed?

I'm using a store-bought bag of cole slaw mix and making my own dressing (well, partially homemade). It's been a looooong time since I've made it and I just don't remember when it went from still-too-fresh to gross & soggy.

  • It starts seperating after about 24 hours. Mine is still good (if I drain off the excess liquid that forms) for about 3 days IF it lasts that long. Mine is a sweet mayo based dressing. I am not sure how long a vinegar based one would last.

  • No onions. I'll wait until Monday morning then, we'll be eating it Tuesday but I have to make it before leaving Monday afternoon.
