Cleaning a non self cleaning oven....

I have the spray stuff that says to let it sit 12 hours and wipe away. Do I pull the coils( things that turn red on the bottom) out before spraying it?

I can't find my owners book and I've googled it...nada. How do you clean your non self cleaning oven? Also, do you unplug it first?

  • Baking soda and water, like ths:

The chemicals make the house smell for days and make the food taste like them for a while, too, depending what you cook after you clean the oven.

  • NP, Thanks so much. I never think of YouTube and had no clue about the chemical taste.

I feel like such a dumbass these days, butterfly. I spent 20 minutes looking at the coil thingies trying to figure out how they come out. Lol.
