  • Isn't it nice of them to take off to their cushy little mansions to sip eggnog & nestle in the bosoms of their families- while leaving our country's entire financial future up in the air?! Merry Christmas to the American people! I say they don't get a holiday break or even a potty break til they reach some kind of agreement!

  • My position is considered a federal job and last year because of the way the holidays fell, we got Christmas and the day after off as federal holidays. This year it is Christmas eve and Christmas day.

  • I guess that means my DH is Executive branch employees and departments.

I think he mainly limits that way so he won't screw up court dockets that have cases scheduled Monday, though some people might read that and still get confused about if they still have to show or nto.

  • Not a federal holiday for me, and my job gets every possible "holiday" off!
