Are you prepared for the storms?

I am reading that there will be tornadoes from Texas to Florida starting this evening and going through Wednesday.

If you live in these areas, please prepare and stay safe.

  • Glad I went to my parents house. It looks like it will be hitting my house. I guess I will have to have someone check on it when the storm is over.

  • Yuck. Unfortunately, ours looks to be snow and/or ice, starting tomorrow night into Thurs. I'm trying to figure out a way to move the hell away from here before that.... LOL, any advice??

  • I saw that. Fortunately, that is to the south of us. I pray everyone stays safe! They are calling for 4-8 inches of snow here. I can't remember the last time we had a white Christmas, so it will be a nice change. :)

  • We will be getting snow on Wed. So hope all our southern mamas in the area of predicted tornadoes stay safe- Better yet, let the weather forecasters be wrong!

  • I am sorry for those in the storms path. It looks like a dusting of snow here but nothing much more than cold wind.

Answer by Dardenella at 1:16 PM on Dec. 24, 2012

  • We're in the middle of a "winter storm" which includes maybe a half inch of rain if we're lucky and temps in the 50s. Whopee. Wouldn't want tornadoes though, hope everyone stays safe.
