Anyone else's kids being BAD today?!

Geesh, you'd think Christmas was already over and they didn't have to try and be good anymore... well I guess technically they weren't really trying all that hard to begin with @@ We already opened presents here, just the few regular gifts from mom&dad and each other. This evening we go to dh's Grandma's to open presents from his side of the family and then we're driving up to Denver to my mom's so we'll do Christmas there tomorrow. We were gonna let them have Santa presents tonight before we leave (santa comes while we're at Granny's house) but the way they are behaving today I am tempted to not have Santa presents at all until we get back on Thursday! :P

  • My 7yo has been the spawn of Satan all week I have already threatened him with Santa isn't going to stop here if he doesn't act properly. Thank goodness DH is home to deal with him a bit otherwise I was going to get a roll of duck tape. :) Merry Christmas and drive safely.

  • Doesn't it just figure....shortly after I posted about what a hellspawn my daughter is being, she comes out here with a picture of Rudolph all colored (in purple and green, mostly) and started singing her own rendition of Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer, in a VERY screechy voice.

Good thing I love her. It was sweet and annoying at the same time.

  • Not bad. Just annoying because they are excited. Real annoying.

  • I don't know of my daughter can mouth off any more. She lost the chance to help make cookies yesterday (epic fail) because of her mouthing off. She's very close to losing out on helping out today too, because of her mouthing off and her bad attitude.

  • Mine are being really good for a change....so far. They are in separate rooms which has a lot to do with their good behavior.

  • Not today. My daughter did something really naughty last night, so I think she believes she's still on thin ice with Santa. She's behaving rather angelically now.

  • I remember those days. With my boys it was mostly just bugging me to open gifts until I almost lost my mind!! My middle son would seriously pester me until I thought Id go insane.... Give them chores to do to get ready to go to keep them busy and out of each other's hair. GL
