  • Doctors' kitchen knives ban call

A team from West Middlesex University Hospital said violent crime is on the increase - and kitchen knives are used in as many as half of all stabbings.

They argued many assaults are committed impulsively, prompted by alcohol and drugs, and a kitchen knife often makes an all too available weapon.

The research is published in the British Medical Journal.

  • Then you'll have the backyard makers reloading their own cartridges which is dangerous.

ROFL. Miraculously, none of that reloading equipment in our garage has never killed anyone, just like none of our guns have.

  • Fix the damn issues that lead to criminal behavior instead of collecting guns and bitching about how your so scared and need protection.

    wrong.
    Dumb......."Answer by Anonymous
No they will not take the guns, there are just too many, and the long guns do not have to be registered in some states. So for the government to take all our firearms, it would be impossible. But Obama sure can make getting ammo a HUGE pain the ass, legislate the hell out of it, make it so expensive to get, that the average gun owner couldn't get any cause they couldn't afford it. Which in turn would hurt the law enforcement side of the equation. The smaller city police force would take a major hit, even the a city the size of Detroit would hurt the police force financial pocketbook.

Sorry, anon, you seem to have confused economics with fear. When there is a perceived shortage of something, demand rises, whether it's guns, ammo, Twinkies or Fashion Bug clothes (which I'm still pissed about, since they actually sold clothes that fit people taller than 5'6")

  • We reload too and hve for generations, no accidents except the occassional bonked finger.

I have to wonder what you think would be the load and how it is done.
