Do you buy Christmas markdown stuff?

I'm talking items specific to Christmas, like lights, ornaments, wrapping paper, etc?

  • Yes but not this year unless I come across name tags. I have enough paper and ribbons for another year and probably most of a second. ATM I have as many lights as I need or want.
I have bought guest and kitchen towels and pot holders. They are nice mini gifts or nice for me.

  • Yep. Teacher's gifts and any last-minute "obligation" gifts are already bought and put away for next year. We did want to try and get a new tree this year, but they only run the good sales on the 26th, and we didn't have that much lying around. Going to try and remember for next year - $1500 trees for $200, works for me.

  • I usually buy some nice ornaments when they get marked down. I almost bought some ribbons and bows today until I thought about my gift wrapping collection and decided I should just back away.

  • I've already bought some cute paper for .50/roll. I'm more into looking for deals for the grandkids then any decorations. I got 2 of the Monster Hall dolls for my grandaughter at $7.50 for her birthday. Looking for crafts for another gd that loves them. Got more Christmas presents for a grandson that we're going to see Saturday at 1/2 off. Love doing Christmas/Birthday shopping after Christmas!
