  • I am glad you are doing well. We went through that in November with Hurricane Sandy. We lost power & heat for over a week. It went down to the 30's & it was so cold in the house it was almost unbearable. We have a finished basement which was about 15 degrees warmer so we stayed down there. We made it through much better than some people though. Some here still have no power & homes have been swept away. You really start appreciating heat & electricity when you are without it for a few days! Best wishes!

  • @okmanders most people are still without power such as my cousins. their power wont be turned back on until tuesday. its not great when everything run by eletric such as the hot water tanks. i didnt have anything so i just did what i had to do to survive. entergy is ashame and should be ashame. we have trees down everywhere still but some are cleaned up and the major damages was trees on the interstate and trees hanging on powerlines that took the tree service days to clean up. the salt trucks did a terrific job at clearing the roads. entergy was just assessing damages not reparing them now they have to go back to point a where they assessed the damages and start repairing. some people is going to be without lights until next thursday and there are over 18 entergy trucks here from different states also

  • Well I am glad you are ok. It is so hard. We were without power once for 8 days after a snow storm in WA.
