Family Pictures

How often you can take family pictures?
what ages kids too old?
We have an appointment today the kids are 12, 14 and 19.
Oldest is home from college. I'm thinking this is the last year.
It's been years sense we've had all of us in a photo together.

  • I think family pictures that you display in your home have no age limit.

  • Ya know, that's an excellent idea! I haven't had one since my girls were little. It would be cool to have one of the girls and the granddaughters. I just might have to do that. Thanks!

  • We do a picture of our whole family at least once/year. Our sil is a professional photographer so when our families are on vacation we have her take some photos of us out on the beach.

  • We took family photos earlier this week - my parents are in their 50s, DH & I are in our 30s, siblings & spouses are in their 20s, and kids range from 4mo to 10yo.

    With DH's family last fall - IL's are pushing 70, kids range from 32-40-something, grands from in utero-20something.

    There is no limit.

  • It's been about 8 years. I have indiv. pics of the kids tho. You're never too old to get the whole family together, it just gets harder fitting it in to everyone's schedule. :/

  • my grandmother use to have us all take professional pictures as one big group even tho all her kids were married w/ kids. they are some of the best pictures! keep taking them, why not?

  • We haven't done a full family portrait since I was pregnant with our now 6 year old.

  • Almost never. We have a picture taken about a month ago at the top of Lone Mountain when one of our friends took a picture of us. We've never done formal pictures all together.

  • Crap. Never. But I have been thinking about doing a siting. We do candid shots but never actual professional ones. None of us enjoy being in front of the camera.
