Do you watch the ball drop in Times Square, NYC on New Years Eve?

We do but were here in NY. What is your tradition & do they have a ball drop or anything similar where you live?

  • Last year I was all over it, till about 1145!! Then I fell asleep and they woke me up at the stroke of midnight...Then I kissed all and went to my bed! I don't usually stay up past 11 now I am a wimp :)

  • If we're home, probably. If we're elsewhere, probably not. Not sure what this year's plans are yet, we've been invited to a couple different kid-friendly gatherings.

  • We watch the NYC ball drop on TV. Some years I stay home and some I go out, depends on the situation.

  • We grew up watching the ball drop in NY on tv, but I have not watched a new years event on tv in years. In our area, we have nothing like that.
    The first night family events are becoming popular and I took my son a couple years ago but we will not go this year.
    We will stay home, watch movies, eat popcorn, drink hot chocolate.

  • I have the kids wake me up, since I'm usually asleep on the couch by then, & we can watch the ball drop together. :p

  • I wish I was going into the NYC to watch the ball drop we did that 3 years ago and it was so much fun but this year we will just be hanging out at home and watching movies. :) Have Fun!
