Breastfeeding and hair dye (added ugly hair pic)

Everything i am looking up says it is safe

BUT

my concern is the strong chemical smell and pillows/blankets/etc that my head will be on- if that would bother a 1 month old.

lets face it, hair gets everywhere.... but seriously my hair looks like crap. half brown half old red

  • Color those roots, girl. The baby won't know anything.

  • Try a non permanent hair dye like Natural Instincts or Garnier Herba Shine. They won't burn your hair & are probably less toxic.

  • The hair doesn't look icky to me. But it's 100% safe to color it. No issues for baby at all.

  • Oh I wouldn't worry about it. Put it on and rinse it out, it'll be fine. I dyed my hair throughout both pregnancies and raising kids.

  • Are you rinsing/washing the dye out well enough, that you're worried about smell? I've never had residual smell on anything after doing mine.
