Can I just run away? (Rant)

So hate these cold days when I can't let my son burn off his endless energy! He and his dad have been in a crappy mood all day and I don't know how much more I can take. Everything my son does elicits screaming from my husband which causes my son to yell louder until nobody can hear each other. Somebody come rescue me!

  • I just put a jacket and boots on my 6 yr old and told him to run 3 laps around the house... outside... worked like a charm!! Yeah the kitchen got a little wet from the snow but now he's settled down and watching a movie with his sister!! 45 minutes 'til bedtime!! ;o)

  • I have a fireplace I can't do anything with. Do you have any idea what that does to a Fire bug!. I NEED fire like I need oxygen. LoL

The kiddies have been loco all day so I feel your pain. I make games out of running laps in the house. Wear them out!!

  • I think we can all relate. My boys MUST do something physical every day. I have often told my eight year old to run up and down the stairs 20 times.

  • Sounds just like here at my house. I know how ya feel..Don't worry, spring will be here before ya know it. Can you and your son go to the library, McDonalds, WalMart, a friend's home...etc...Something to get away from the COUCH GROUCH?

  • Bundle him up and send him out. Cold weather is no reason for him not to be able to go out for at least a little while.
