What is the difference between convection and regular ovens?

  • When we bought a new oven it wasn't that much more for convection and we got it and I prefer it now as it seems to cook more evenly and slightly quicker (instead of 30 minutes takes 20 minutes).

  • No,they're too expensive
    I guess if you do alot of fancier cooking it's worth it,but I'm more of a 'heat it up" kind of gal

  • My husband swears by the convection setting on our oven. I don't notice a difference, I just turn the damned thing on.
