Pillows and blankets...

When is it safe to give you child a pillow and blanket? I know it is a SIDS risk for babies but what is the age guideline?

  • When your child has the strength and motor skills to move a pillow or blanket off their face, they're ready.

  • my son is 3 now and he has a twin size blanket that he loves ( fire trucks and buses and police cars lol.) before that he had a light weight blanket ( throw blanket )

  • I give my 8 month old a blanket... but i wrap it around her several times...

  • my daughter is 22 months old and shes been sleepling with a pillow now for about 6 months and a light blanket, its a throw blanket actually however she hasnt always had the blanket shes been sleeping with it about 3 months.
