BreastMilk Storage.

How long once expressed and stored/frozen will breastmilk be good for before it should be thrown out and replaced with fresh to be stored or used right away.

I ask this since due to medical reasons i will not be able to breastfeed and would like to prepare for my babies upcoming birth by buying breasmilk and would like to prepare in advance.

I'm 24 weeks right now.

When could i do this ?

Thank you in advance.

  • Refrigerator freezer, frozen breast milk will last for 3-4 months; in a deep freezer, breast milk will keep for 6-12 months
