  • Not normal- a few things come to mind, being a cocker
Ears- Cockers are notorious for ear infections both yeast and bacterial. This can require a good bit of attention to get under control
Skin- Cockers are also prown to skin problems including allergies and yeast. Again it can be a bit time consuming to get under control.
teeth- any older dog is prown to any number of problems in the mouth form tooth abscess to just plain old tarter build up. any mouth problem can cause a lot of smell
Either way you will need a vet to address the problem and any problem causing a smell is not comfortable for you pet so please get him in ASAP.

  • I would get him checked for either an ear infection or clogged anal sacs.

  • Mine has a smell when his ears are infected. They can grow yeast very easily in their ears. You have to keep them cleaned all the time.
