Does your almost teen talk to you on the phone?

If he does, does he always sound flat and distant?

  • My boys were, and pretty much are, horrible phone talkers!! My oldest is growing out of it now, but none of them like to talk on the phone, and always sound very unlike themselves. Its torture to talk to them!!! In person they are great.... we talk about everything, laugh and have a good time. On the phone, ugh!!

  • Sometimes although they usually text. My 11 yo dd sounds just like herself, my 12 yo ds wants to get off the phone ASAP but I wouldn't say he sounds "distant"
