How much do you spend on groceries a month?

  • We are a family of 2 and I try to stay under $100/week. I usually will spend around $60- $70 a week.

    4 of us - me, hubby, a 19 yr old and a 16 yr old ...and part of the time there is someone else eating dinner or whatever too

  • Wow, that's a lot! I spend maybe $200 a month, $50 a week, on the 3 of us (2 adults and a 4 year old). I don't consider myself to be as "thrifty" as I could/should be either, so I'm surprised that that's less than everyone else.

  • 600/month for a family of 7. That doesn't include our weekly pizza night or lunches for the 2 of mine that prefer to eat at school. I shop somewhat within a budget, balancing out meals that are more costly with economic choices but I don't worry if I go over a little either.

  • There's 3 of us - 8 year old DS, 11 year old DS, and me.

    I spend about $300 a month on both groceries and household/pet needs.
