I have not ordered pizza in a long time... what is the going rate on a tip for the driver these days?

The order was $22.53

BTW any ideas how many dinners I could have bought at the grocery store for that price!? I must like my kids or something.

  • I do $2-3 with ours. I used to be a delivery driver, and those tips add up QUICK. Of course, then you get the people who don't give a tip at all....

  • I was thinking of adding 2.47 to make it an even $25 then adding another dollar in cash... so 3.47 is too little...? Hmmm... Now I remember why we never order pizza. lol.

  • Anyone know what the delivery fee is for if it's not going to the driver?

  • I wondered that too! It even says that the delivery fee is not a tip when you are online. So that extra $2.75 is for... what? The driver has to pay his own insurance right?

  • Yeah, I still don't know why they charge a delivery fee when the fee doesn't go to the driver. I had to use my own vehicle, pay for my own gas, (at the time my parents were paying my insurance), maintenance on my own vehicle, etc.
