Do people misunderstand your humor/sarcasm?

I'm amazed at how many people have little to no sense of humor.
The looks on their faces is priceless!

My son was put on Cephalaxin for a strep infection, and I was kidding with him at the hospital and said,"Oh no! Now you're going to turn into a cephalapod!" the nurse looked at me like I was serious! LOL

The quick wit is how I knew my husband was "the one". He has the exact same sense of humor

  • Yes. Sometimes my dry sense of humor makes people ask me if I am serious.

  • Yes, people are so touchy these days. Or not bright enough to understand. Or you have to wait 5-10 seconds for their brains to catch up for that "OHHH yeah."

  • Sometimes. More so when I type it people think I'm serious and then I usually have to explain what I meant. Sometimes my sense of humor/sarcasm is more of a pain than anything.

  • depends if they know me or not. Those that know me, get my twisted sense of humor. New people are thrown off by it,
