Going up a size in clothing woes?

Daughter is 3, wearing her 2t clothes her belly is showing and pants are high waters. Put her in 3t today and they are so baggy and wide.

Either way makes it look like i am dressing her in clothes that aren't her size.

Normal? She has been in 2t so long i forget.

Sigh. I feel bad.

  • I don't think I had a single kid that didn't go through this "between sizes" thing. I agree that it makes you feel sort of like a goober mom but what are you supposed to do?

I've never understood why no one makes toddler half sizes

  • try regular 2 and not the "T" sizes. they are cut different

  • All children are built differently. Try a different brand of clothes. Different brands fit my kids differently.

  • Never heard of that! I have the clothes I have though. I have very rarely purchased clothing for either kid, I get them all from donations, which I am very thankful for. Even the goodwill wants 3.99+ for a child's shirt. 5.99+ for pants.

  • What about size 36 month clothes? Not as big as 3t nor as small as 2t

  • Half sizes would be great. Guess I'm just looking for re-assurance i'm not a crappy person.
