Do you have a laptop? How much did it cost? Are you happy with it? What brand?

I am thinking of HP. The one I saw was $597. I would like to find something that cost even less if possible.

  • I have an HP Pavillion. It's a couple of years old. Don't remember what it cost but it works excellent.

  • We've had 2 HPs. The first cost around $1700 I think - we ordered it through a local place that sold them, so it was to our specs, etc. LOVED it. It did eventually bite the dust - but we used it a LOT. 2nd was from Wal-Mart, a Black Friday special - $300-some. It's okay, a lot better than the Toshiba DH has bought since, but not as good as if we had ordered it. I'd rather spend more and get what I need/want and have all the customer service, etc stuff wtih it.

  • Oh- and honestly Walmart isn't that bad, either. But LOOK at what's included. Some will offer the basic OS but no Word, no other programs, etc.
