  • Any time the words "executive orders" get thrown around, I get nervous. The more of those we have, the more we become like the kind of nation we escaped from over 200 years ago. He'd better tread lightly here! (Not threatening our king, um I mean our prez) Just preparing for things to get ugly if he goes too far.

  • Talk about a red herring.

"President Obama vowed last month that a new task force overseen by Biden will provide "concrete proposals" by the end of January to reduce gun violence."

Even in the form of executive orders to come to a proposal this is a far cry from "Soon we will be calling him emperor".

  • It might help if you knew what "executive orders" actually means instead of treating it like a buzz word like faux news does.

  • The next person won't be black, won't have a parent born in Africa or outside of this country, won't be a person the Tea Party can say this is Satan, this is the anti Christ, and this person is trying totake over the world.

I suggest you google "Hillary Clinton" before you make such a biased generalization. It has nothing to do with appearance, everything to do with pandering. The liberals are pandering for midterm votes by saying they'll solve a problem that they are not able to solve, by increasing regulations that were already proven ineffective the last time they were in place. In a few months, nobody will care, other things will come up, and we'll only hear about it again if there's no other major crisis between now and the mid-term primaries.

  • In four years people will be bitching about the next person in office, regardless of race, religion or gender. It comes with the territory.

As for executive orders, I think many of those are issued without much regard to our founding documents.

  • What will people do in four years? He is going to step aside, as all past presidents have done, and the next person most likely will not look as threatening to the Obama haters. The next person won't be black, won't have a parent born in Africa or outside of this country, won't be a person the Tea Party can say this is Satan, this is the anti Christ, and this person is trying totake over the world. He will just go on about his life. No fun anymore for those Tea party followers. No way to play out their many conspiracies that have yet tocome through. And by then the last remaining details of tge health care act will have been playing out to the benefit of many citizens. And all the haters are left with...nothing.

  • Oh, I'm sure they'll bitch about whomever is president then, too, just probably not the Antichrist crap.

Uh, not all. The two term limit is actually fairly new. We DID have a president elected 4 times.

Now, before someone jumps on my shit. I am just pointing this out. I really do NOT believe that there will be a bill passed removing term limits for President.

  • Apparently those that believe the bill will be passed to amend the Constitution do not know how hard it is to pass Amendments.
