Cool Stuff Still Happens

I have a good friend who works nights as the front desk manager at a nearby hotel. Her eyes have been giving her serious problems lately. She's so sensitive to light that sometimes she can hardly see. Last night, she was waring a baseball cap and sunglasses, still blinking painfully while she checked in some guy at two in the morning. Of course, the guy asked her what was wrong. She told him about her eye condition. He asked if anything could be done, and she said she's been saving up money to get these specially tinted glasses that will help her. He asked how much the glasses were. She told him six hundred dollars. He opened his wallet, right on the spot, and handed her the money. Just like that. She said thank you but no, and he insisted that she put the money in her purse. He said it was his way of tithing.

I would have so much fun if I won the lottery. I'd love to be a professional day-maker like that.

Your attitude is as well... We need more "day-makers" in our dark world.
