Are you planning your spring garden? Are you trying anything new?

I am. I am definitely going to try spaghetti squash, acorn squash and lemon cucumbers which will be new for me this year.

I tried red onions and garlic and celery. All are doing well. They will be ready in March. I want to plant some potatoes.

  • We are doing tomatoes, cukes, peppers (hot), lettuces, beets, asparagus, and zuccinni as usual. Strawberries up in our community garden beds. I think we will look at a varieties of squash, okra, brussel sprouts that we have not year tried and/or had luck with in past years.

  • I'm planning on tomatoes, green beans,cucumbers, and potatoes. Not a lot, but I only plant what we will eat so there's no waste. I don't want to can anything, I don't have the room for it all.

  • I'm having another go with tomatoes. I'm convinced the soil is bad in the raised bed at our new place. So I'm adding terra cotta pots galore and many many tomatoes. Then beets, kale, basil, parsley, and I want a few berry bushes this year.

  • I haven't really mentally started planning quite yet. I pulled up some old tomato plants just this afternoon and told myself that I'm not going to plant too many...Maybe 3 plants.
    I'm not doing a huge garden this spring...It usually gets overwhelming by mid summer..I'm tired. ; {
    I'll probably do, strawberries, onions, peppers, green beans, carrots, lettuce and a little corn...maybe a few pumpkins. I like raised beds the best.

  • Thinking about it. Might need to do container gardening because I live on the coast and the sun can be spotty. I need to have the ability to move the containers around.

    Herbs, tomatoes, squash, flowers, berries, peppers.
