Do you use cold medicines like Nyquil?

I cannot take it anymore as my asthma has gotten really bad and it compromises my breathing.

  • I can't take anything with decongestants in it... so I tough it out
Saline and hot showers and humidifiers are my friend

  • I take Mucinex and Benadryl
Nyquil just knocks your ass out because you get drunk. Each shot is 25% alcohol

  • I used Nyquil exactly once. It was when I was 17 and I slept all night & all day the next day & I woke up groggy feeling as if I didn't have a clue what was going on. After I had babies, I decided never to use sleep aid again for fear of not waking up for my kids. I use DayQuil though! :)

  • I'm not big into most medicines but I can't live without NyQuil and Excedrin. Nyquil helps me sleep but it doesn't "knock me out". Ever since my daughter was born I've been a VERY light sleeper. I get a lot of really bad migraines and Excedrin is the only thing I've found that helps. Most of the medicine in the house is for my daughter. I don't like giving her medicine for symptoms she doesn't have so I have a ton of different combinations. I like the Little Noses saline and the little cough honey elixir.

  • I never touched Nyquil till a few years ago. Now sometimes it's the only thing that will let me fall asleep when I don't feel well.

  • NyQuil gives me the Jimmy Legs. I'll take Mucinex or Sudafed but I'm afraid of NyQuil.
