Is there any way I can get gorilla glue out....

My hubby did some project brought it inside and now I have glue dried on my carpet in the basement. How can I get this crap out?

  • DO NOT put water on it, I believe they sell a remover.

  • Things you'll need:

    Vacuum with upholstery attachment
    Isopropyl Alcohol
    Paint thinner and
    Rubber gloves

    Sandpaper the glue until you have sanded it down. Vacuum the dried particles and debris.
    Put Alcohol in a bowl and dip cloth in alcohol and rub the area where the glue is. Alternate with paint thinner and alcohol.
    Make sure you have good ventilation and use rubber gloves.

  • GOOF OFF. Here's a link to it, you can get it at any hardware store, or wal-mart. It won't smell the best, but after you get the glue out, you can use some soap and water to clean the carpet.

    It's not just a spot remover, it works great!

  • there should be a number on the back of the glue. Call them and ask what the solvent is.
