1 Bump

Must be a hormone thing

When I was going to school years ago, I could take a shower at night and feel clean the next day...all day, without taking another shower until that night. Now if I take a shower at night, I wake up feeling grimy in the morning and feel like I need to take a light shower again... Ugh... I sweat during the night as well and sometimes my night shirt is kinda damp around my boob area. Why does this happen? Are you that way, too?

  • LOL! Everything gets worse with age. Wait until you turn 40, everything's down hill from there. Old & punky!

  • I don't know, I have always taken a shower each morning. Since moving to the desert, I almost always take a second shower before bed (unless I'm really cold).

  • I don't have that yet & I'm 39. But, I also have hypo-thyroidism and tend to get very cold at night.

  • Yes my friend, Lori who is a Cardiologist says it is a build of hormones, ie your body getting ready for menopause. It is so gross. I hate it. Sometimes my hair smells like sweat! Yuck!
