Sudden feeling of everything moving quickly and or being very loud.. i.e.:my thoughts, movement voices etc...

I have these spells that happen often, about 1-2 times a week. It happens when i am relaxed, i.e. reading a book taking a bath laying down for bed....

And everything around me seems to be moving intesnly fast and any sounds seem to be extra loud.

I know it isnt really fast because ill test it by moving my hand slowly in front of my face but it seems its happening in lightning speed.

This is accompanied with my heart racing ... any thoughts in my mind are also very fast and seem to be yelling at myself....

this episodes last about 15-30 minutes. Any thoughts or ideas?

OR anyone else have this happen to them ? lol there isnt much i can find online...

  • You need to see a doctor as soon as possible. This could be something as easily explained as an anxiety attack but it could be much more serious. Please, call your GP and schedule an appointment.

  • It sounds like a panic attack, but the others are right, a doctor will be much better at figuring this out than anybody else.

  • Could it just be that you are REALY tired. I know if I am too tired all get the everything moving real quick feeling. I don't get the loud noises unless I am having a migraine. Then, EVERYTHING seems to be overly loud, even my own breathing.
