I have a 3 day weekend and today Im alone with lots of free time.

What would you do?
Im thinking paperwork, put all laundry away, read and see a friend after.
But seems like the same old thing, and maybe I should do something different
in any case what would you do if you had a free day

  • I think you should come here & babysit for me. You could also clean & make us dinner. I think I'm getting the flu :( That's what we do here on CM! LOL Just kidding :) Have fun & relax! Maybe get a hair cut & shop too.

  • ^^^ I'd say take roommate out to dinner then! :p I'd love to have more time to spend w/ my friends. But knowing me, I'd probably take a nap & clean some closets {sigh}

  • Nap. Cuddle with a good book and blanket. Happy hour with a friend. A long hot uninterrupted shower.

    I'd say eff the housework and other crap... and take some time for me!

  • pArTy!! Invite a few friends over or just enjoy a movie night alone. Rent a bunch of movies, watch those DVRed shows you've been meaning to watch, get popcorn and drinks...light candles, give yourself a mini-pedicure, drink that wine you've been saving or just indulge in something you nomally wouldn't (icecream, sweets, desserts). Don't cook at all for those 3 days, frozen meals or just get delivery. Play some fun music, relive the 80s or 90s, walk around in pajamas all day, dance like no one's watching....Trust me, this little mini-vacation will be so worth it once you've had a chance to recharge.

  • i think youre right hellokitty! but im teaching myself to cook instead because i like to cook and think i need to build my repertoire. I also took a 2 hour nap and then when I woke up, taught my foreign friend how to drive. More practice tomorrow! Now a night for movie with friend :) Im still open for suggestions for my next two open days ;-) Something crazy hmm

  • I have Fridays off so I spend them doing laundry, running errands but sometimes I just lay around and talk to you guys.
