If someone's profile has them listed as a veteran, but their transcript doesn't list any group answers or posts...

And they are at a 2 digit level, does this mean they goes anon for everything in groups and answers?

  • The profile "Veteran" listing is not based on activity but length of time they have been a member whether they were "active' or not. I'm not sure the time frame one needs to be a member in order to be considered a "veteran".

  • In other words - all those extra fake accts people used to troll and never bothered cancelling 3+ years ago are still veterans if they haven't been caught and deleted yet.

  • Also, you can hide what groups you are in so they aren't shared on your profile page. Not sure if that includes comments or not tho.

  • ^^yes. I joined in 09 but was off for about a year. I came back to the points system and all that other bullshit. Then around the beta switch, my profile said I was a veteran, regardless of that year I took off

  • So you could join,never participate,come back 3 years later,and be a veteran? Weird
