2 Bumps

Two 1/2 almost three year old with horrendous gas

My DD has what I've been calling a toxic butt. There is no pain or anything, it's like it's normal gas but I swear she could clear a room. The only thing I can come up with is trying to track what she is eating to see if there is a pattern. Any other ideas?

  • The only thing I can say is ask the doctor next time you go in. See if he/she has any ideas. What you eat gives you gas. Like you already have said. I have heard if fresh fruit and vegies produce more gas the processed foods.

  • I would suggest doing what you already plan to- keep a food log and a notes section for when the gas (or any other symptoms) arise. The doctor would likely tell you the same thing.

  • Definitely keep a food journal - remember to track drinks, meds, everything that goes into her mouth.
