Pregnant cat questions.

I adopted a pregnant cat from someone today, because they were moving. I know shes 2 years old and this is her second litter. But, i have a few questions. 1. How far along is she? Shes showing. so i estimate she has about 3-4 more weeks. 2. Around how many will she have? 3. Any things i need to know or that will help. When she gives birth? Thanks.

  • If she's showing,she has 2 weeks top,left
    They'll have 1-8
Make her a safe area where she can birth her babies. A large, open box with a blanket or newspaper that she can shred.
When she's in labor she will get restless, make frequent trips to the litter box,and lose her appetite. She will pant, purr, and cry out,and her belly will have strong contractions
You can watch over her as she births to make sure she licks the babies and pulls off the sac. If she ignores them, pick up the baby and rub vigorously with a washcloth to stimulate breathing to to dry it,then put to the teat. Let her eat all the birth material because she won't get up to eat for up to 24 hours after the births.
Put her food and water dishes, along with the litterbox in the room she's nesting
