My 7 week old can roll to one side- is that typical?

She hasn't fully rolled over yet, but she will go from back to side on a flat surface. They aren't supposed to roll til 4-6 months.

  • That's great! It's not unheard of, but most can't do it, so "Bravo!" tiny one. :)

  • It's not unusual. It doesn't count as rolling over until the baby can go back and forth.

  • Our youngest boys did really early, our oldest took forever doing everything, I think it's because I held him sooooo much! Congrats to the little rollie pollie! :-)

  • No need to congratulate! Just means less places are safe to set her down!

    She's cute. I like her.

  • Yes. My oldest was rolling over at 6 weeks, and my youngest rolled over at a month.
    She is really cute.

  • Yes, my first born didn't do anything on the timeline of babies- I think I held her cradled up close like a tiny baby til she was 6 months! I held her like she was made of thin glass!

  • Tori's been known to go over onto her side, but not often ;)

  • My son was rolling over at 7 days old. Babies progress at their own speed. ITs nothing to worry about just yet.
