It's been months now that I've been having trouble with feeding my son! Its really driving me nuts! I've been trying anything that I read or ppl suggest but I'm just so confused! Did anyone else have this problem? And I'm not jut talking about him being picky, he won't eat chicken, meat, veggies, or eggs! I'm losing it! I've been giving him pediasure in his cup at least once a day. In running out of ideas and don't know what to do! At first I thought it was just a faze but it's getting worse.! I don't feed him junk food when he won't eat his food. Mainly fruit, oatmeal, (whole grain) and soup either chicken noodle or the alphabet kind is something that he's consistently eating. Other than that it's like a fight every time we eat or he eats! He throws a fit if its something he just assumes he doesn't like! I never had this problem before during his gerber stages.
As long as you are giving him vitamins daily then soups are fine. My Pediatrician said let my Daughter eat what she wants, just make sure to give her her liquid vitamin & milk. Try Progresso soups like chicken rotini & beef barley. Keep on offering new foods & they will eventually try them. If you get visibly upset it will make him not want them even more. Eating habits change every year.
