To keep having children when you know you can't afford it? Like if you can't afford food, would you ttc?

No, I don't think it is fair and I think it is highly irresponsible to try to conceive while unable to afford another child. It's not fair to the child, to the other siblings, to tax payers, etc. However, I have learned that life isn't fair.

no its not. DH and i would love to have more kids, but we cant afford it (without giving up everything extra). it would be wrong of us to give up being able to provide for the kids we have now, just so i could satisfy my "i wanna baby" itch.

A person who is struggling to stay above the water or requires assistance to meet everyday needs should not be actively trying to conceive. That is just purely selfish and absolutely ridiculous.

My cousin's best friend was on all forms of welfare,and said it was a good time to have #2 because it was "free" so why not? So we pay for her to make another kid because her husband is a POS loser who can't keep a job
